Comprehensive deal coverage
The E&P Transactions Database comprises two data sets, Announced Deals and Deals in Play. Announced deals are those transactions where the buyers and sellers have expressed intent of undertaking the transaction, but board and/or government approval may be pending. Deals in Play are those transactions that are likely to occur in the near future.

As compared to competing products, the Derrick E&P Transactions Database has better coverage of deals outside North America and comparable coverage of North American deals.

Advanced deal metrics
For larger transactions, the database has 79 additional parameters, including production and reserves of bought assets, and costs per barrel of proved, probable and possible reserves. The deal metrics are calculated such that transactions across countries with different fiscal regimes can be compared.

Daily update
The database is updated daily. We complete one cycle of our exhaustive data collection, processing and quality control procedure every 24 hours. This ensures that you have the latest deal information, together with the historical database, available at all times.

Web-based and desktop access
The database can be accessed through a web-browser or through a desktop client software, or the data can be exported for integration with other analysis tools.
